I think now the possibilities are limitless. With those tools you can create almost a new sim.
Is it maybe a new kind of Flight Simulator with tons of addons from 3rd parties?. Photorealistic sceneries, civil airplanes... That sounds really, really promising.

I really hope some other developers pick up on that. F18 anyone?

As I said this is good news. The only thing we need now is developers committed to make content. If they get this we have a new "Flight Simulator".

It is really estrange why people havenīt reacted too much to this. Skepticism maybe?.

This is awesome news, I really hope developers utilize DCS like they do with FS, as already mentioned the possibilities could be endless. And I agree that a lot of folks probably have skepticism given how we're the #%&*$# children of PC gaming nowadays......

An expanded map into western Europe for cold war scenarios would be cool, too.
