Spring is springing, Summer is right around the bend. I say we get regional SimHQ BBQs set up. Who's with me? I'm in the Inland Empire/San Diego area/s. I know there are quite a few members that live 45-60 minutes from me. Anybody else interested?
Dates? Times? Foods? Drink? Activities?

Anyone in the GTA interested? I can cook That would be interesting, sort of a SimHQ North. I would not be able to host, at least not until we find a house. I'm pretty shy though.

Spring is a few days out, but yes, time to dust off the BBQ, might get a new one this year, mines 10 years old! ;-)
I think there are three or four bluenosers on SimHQ. I can supply the homebrew

I would be interested in a GTA barbecue. Let it warm up a bit first though. If you gents don't have the room I have a backyard and a barbecue downtown if the need arises. S!

I can supply the homebrew Good point, we'd have a SimHQ 'The Other Far East" BBQ, but I think given it would be a Maritime hosted BBQ, we'd have to rub it in by also throwing on a clam and lobster bake as well! Along with the YouTube Video of course. ;-) Seriously, to actually meet in person, well, it would just shoot down the whole image I've cultivated over the years based soley on your prose and forum tag! I can't risk it, nope not going there .... :-)

That would be interesting, sort of a SimHQ North. North? Hehe. I'm sitting here square on the 60th parallel. THAT'S North for ya! Seriously though, if more SimHQers were around here I'd clear a patch of snow and fire up the old BBQ
In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

I don't mind hosting the GTA thing, I've got the BBQ, and the deck. Don't worry about being shy, just a few beers, and some eats. Would be nice to actually discuss my favourite hobby with people face to face

I'd love to go Ghost but dont have the money for the travel/hotel expenses right now. That's why I suggested a REGIONAL BBQ PM I can host in the Inland Empire/San Diego areas. BYOBeer BYOBeef BYOChicken Chips if you want them, bring 'em. I can make some GREAT Potato Salad, that's on me.

That's why I suggested a REGIONAL BBQ PM Hehe, oops! I'm trying to think of all the Floridian SimHQ'ers and the ones that come to my mind are THX-1138 and Oldgrognard.
