Hey Semmern, do you like bbq'd whale?  I would imagine that whale is a very fatty meat. @ 20mm -

Hey Semmern, do you like bbq'd whale?  I would imagine that whale is a very fatty meat. Actually, it's not. All the fat is in the layer of blubber, which we in Norway don't eat. We just sell it to the Japanese, while keeping the meat.

Ah, ok. Does whale taste like chicken? Doesn't everything taste like chicken ? Will have to see if I can make this ? Are you doing the Museum/BBQ on the 1st which is a Friday according to my calendar or the 2nd which is a Saturday? Wheelsup (Post # 76)

The Museum/BBQ will be on the 2nd of May. I figure we'll meet up at the Museum at around 1000, tour the museum and caravan to my place, for BBQ.

Whale meat is kind of layered like salmon but is the colour of beef and tastes just like beef. I had to try it so I could see what a delicacy it is  Such a delicacy, it gets served as school lunches ...! Pure beef sausages or lamb & mint ... now that's meat
