Welcome all to the next campaign in our series. Today we jump from the deserts of the middle east back to the familiar surrounds of the Balkans theater. Although this time we have traveled back in time a little to the original Balkans era.

So jump on in and cya all next week online. Hey .... if nothing else at least the flight times will be shorter and we can get more missions flown thumbsup

Cheers cheers

OK guys,

Just an update .... it was all quiet today .... and it appears that there may be an issue with our current scheduling. Saturday's seem to be causing some issues with RL intruding more and more (damn those "outside influences" bottles pitchafit sicko).

Anyway .... in an attempt to try and ease the burden .... I was discussing this with Eugene and it was suggested that maybe we should try changing our "flight night" to Friday night with an amended start time of 9PM US CST (I think that was right wasn't it Eugene?).

Hopefully by shifting the flights it will make things easier for the majority for get online and into the pit.

So .... I'll open the floor to comments, suggestions, and general chat regarding this proposal. If everyone can let us know your thoughts it would be very helpful. If there are no major issues with this then we will trial the amended timings commencing this coming weekend and see how things turn out.

OK .... over to the group ....

Cheers cheers

I can do Friday nights although I probably wont be able to stay on as late with early Sat. morning ballgames coming up. Ballgames will last from May thru July.

Either way I'll find time to join a flight.

OK .... so things are not looking so great after all for Friday nights. Well maybe we may just have to stay with what we have and do the best we can.

Sunday nights may be an option .... but not for me as that makes it Monday here and work tends to get in the way biggrin.

So, if things don't change .... we will stick with our current setup but maybe try changing the timings. Anyone have any suggestions as to when to start as opposed to our current start time? I am open to anytime really as its Sunday afternoon here and I have it pretty much open.

Cheers cheers

And that's great .... but I guess I'm just trying to get as many as possible back online thumbsup. Like I said .... I am fairly flexible with when we fly. Maybe just a later time on Saturday will be fine? We still have time and room to decide .... at this stage yeah we can give Friday night a try and see how it goes. If it doesn't work .... that's cool, we can always just go back to Saturday night and look at at different start time.

Cheers cheers

Hi Oz,

Wow, even better, friday's are definitive a go, saturday's are more/less, depends on RL.
Sunday's are definitive bad move, in my opinion.

So, just time sync.
... 9pm CST? no it is wrong, it should be 0700pm CST (-1, not +1), that is 0800pm EST
(left=negative , right=positive)

UTC=GMT=zulu=0

(US)
CST -6; summer=> CDT -5
EST -5; summer=> EDT -4

(EU)
CET +1; summer=> CEST +2

(AUS)
EST +10; summer=> EDT +11

So, (us) 7pm CDT is:
- 8pm (us) EDT
- 2am (eu) CEST *next day
- 1pm (aus) EDT *next day

Well I think there will be no more troubles regarding tz's.

Now let's just seal the deal wink

cheers
