Hi,

For some flying buddies I made this "little" movie to show them Yap2. You might like it.
Frame rate isn't that great, the Capture tool Fraps takes it down by 5 - 8 frps on my Dualcore Amd64/4400, Radeon 4870. But I think it give a good impression of flying an F4 in Vietnam smile

For the stream check this: http://www.dailymotion.com/ghost013/video/14402970

or you can download the 88mb full Quality version here:

Have fun. pilot

That's pretty nice. I wish we could officially use Magic Carpet Ride...but we cannot.

Shoot a video inside one of our missions. I would like to see how you see it.

(That music brought back some memories...where did I put that bong?)

Pretty damn nice. Hope you had as much fun doing it as I did watching it. Just one thing...."man you better get some altitude unless you wanna frag your ass!" thumbsup

Ghost,

Nice video, music and placing bombs on target. That is what results from practice, practice and more practice.

Out of here,

Wired

Ghost - Please post your system specs. Other members might be interested and your rig runs the full show without a hitch and recording video.

Thx for the positive replies.

It took a lot of time, but I enjoyed making it. One's started editing it all together the idea's just keept comming..

My CPU specs are not that great but still it is good flyable. I think my videocard upgrade
makes the difference. My fps are between 10 - 25. Depents on the envioment and if you in outsite view or not ( on the carrier launch it drops below 8fps ) But all in all good for me to have great fun with Yap2.

My setup looks like this.

AMD64/X2 4400+, 4Gb(3Gb used in XP),Club3d Radeon4870/512Mb, 24"samsung T24, CH flightstick,rudder and throttle,OS WinXPsp3,TrackIr.

About the mission biggrin. Hey guys, I don't wanna disurb you idea's about the movies..but it's Hollywood, I had to re-shoot (read refly) some part a few times to get better lightning, cam positions, timing and...yes..bomb impacts wacky

But serious, there is no recording option like in Flanker, so it's hard to get good looking movie shoots and flying the mission with some succes during a real mission. There is no way to get different cam postions without reflying some parts.

and about that Radar? Radar? what do you need a radar for ? sleepy
