I wish Universal HD would show them at same time as Sci-Fi.

Life just isn't fair sometimes. Sigh.

I guess I'll just have to wait for the bluray dvd's.

Yeah, I just got it in time for season 4.5, and it's also handy because I can now DVR it and watch it with my girlfriend later.

Well if you touch sci-fi and then you touch her with a 6" pole that is almost just like her touching sci-fi so she might as well watch it with you!

That's an awesome perspective on the matter. I'll mention it to my girlfriend. biggrin

I was underwhelmed by "Islanded", didn't really advance things very much. Some interesting developments like Anders becoming a hybrid and the usual good acting and character moments, but nothing special.

Well, I think this was the last of the "set up" episodes; now we're in for the big ride to the finish. My guess is that they'll use Galactica for one last glorious mission (at the beginning of the episode, we saw Hera play with the models on the tactical table, and she was "crashing" Galactica into three basestars). And Adama wants to "send her off in style".

**Note I haven't seen the trailer for next week's episode yet.

***Alright, I have just seen the trailer, so yeah, that pretty much confirms it. smile

There was one thing I felt a bit unsure about in last nights episode. When Starbuck pulled her gun on Sam, was she trying to kill him because she felt pity for him and wanted to end his misery or did she want to kill him for some evil reason?

I think it was intended as a mercy killing, esp after what she just said to him.

I was just watching Lay Down your Burdens and it was quite parallel, they agree to kill each other if they are going to get captured, it is precipitated by Kara pointing her gun at Ander's head...

Anybody else notice the old-style Cylon raiders in the "colony" landing area? Interesting, huh? Maybe some more holdouts like from Razor have returned to the Cylon fold.

Yeah, I saw those too. I was also wondering if they decided to move to someplace that had enough resources and an old base was the best choice.

I can't tell until it's all over, but it feels like they're trying to pack too much stuff in for the finale.

I definitely noticed them. Perhaps this has some connection with the old style Viper that Starbuck returned to the fleet with in the first episode of S4? Maybe Starbuck was resurrected or cloned or whatever you want to call it at the cylon colony?

All has happened before and will happen again; here's what we'll learn in the next two episodes:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Titan_War

angel yep

Oh, and then there's this:

Edit:
"Once Zeus reached adulthood, he subdued Cronus by wile rather than force, using a potion concocted with the help of Gaia, his grandmother, to force Cronus to vomit up Zeus's siblings. A war between younger and older gods commenced, in which Zeus was aided by the Hecatonchires and Cyclopes, who had once again been freed from Tartarus. Zeus won after a long struggle, and cast many of the Titans down into Tartarus.

Yet the older gods left their mark on the world: Oceanus continued to encircle the world, and the name of "bright shining" Phoebe was attached as an epithet to effulgent Apollo, "Phoebus Apollo". Some of the Titans had not fought the Olympians and became key players in the new administration: Mnemosyne as a Muse, Rhea, Hyperion, Themis, or the "right ordering" of things and Metis."

I'm starting to thing that Starbuck do'snt seem that crazy right now and i'm thinking that she may end up being the death of the cylons ..not people. In the final fight. But who knows

At this point I'm most curious to see if all of the major characters die or if a few happen to survive somehow.

I was just thinking about the last episode on my way to work. It will truly suck if Boomer wuss out in the last episodes and decides to be a 'good girl'.

Personally, I loved to hate her ever since she shot the old man. Then she comes back and bangs Helo with his wife (half) watching, kidnaps Hera under everyone's nose, escape leaving Adama a big FY and cripling Galactica (even more).

She picked the fight. Now she must stand her ground.
