Wings of POWER 3: P51 Early and Late Models in development
A2A Simulations is currently developing brand new Wings of POWER 3, early and late model P51 Mustangs including the A36 model.
During development of the new Mustangs, we will be releasing a free update for existing Wings of POWER II: P51D Mustang owners which will not just give them a native FSX model, but an external model built from the ground up. Like our Wings of POWER 3: P47 Razorback, existing Wings of POWER II: P51D owners will also receive an additional price break when we launch the Wings of POWER 3: P51 Mustang. This new Mustang from A2A Simulations is receiving down-to-the-rivet attention, including Accu-Sim modeling.

Here are some first shots of the model in progress:

Really nice work on the gear, the polycount must be incredibly high! 190, P51, Cup....Jeez, you guys must have a tight shedule. The quality of your work is really outstanding but til now I always resisted to buy one of your aircraft since if it's a warbird I want to blow up stuff. And the Stratocruiser is just too complex for a relaxed evening flight. I usually fly the Do27 from DA cause it's modeled with so much attention to detail and just feels like the real thing. Now the Cup with accusim really looks as if it would nicely complement my Dornier!

Great work, keep it up!

Tbag, Lewis, I too own the DA Dornier-27 but have not yet fully understood what "Accusim" really means.

Is it the same thing - if you exceed performance limits, ignore parts of the checklist you get punished with mechanical failure and can "repair" the aircraft afterwards?

I really do LOVE that level of detail on the Dornier, and indeed the Cub would be a nice addition to it.

That's how I understand the accusim concept. Watch the Stratocruiser vids on the A2A page, accusim gets explained there very well!

Yes, think the Dornier but on a whole next level, perhaps even skipping a level in between thanks to how FSX upgraded the way developers can work.

Am so looking forward to the "update" to the WOP II Mustang. There are always times when one has reservations about actually paying for a sim add-on what with so much of the free stuff out there, but I have never regretted purchasing the P-40, P-51, and most recently the WOPIII P-47 w/accusim. At age 66 this is as close as I will ever get to actually flying these historic warbirds. And it is nice to fly them without the inclination to go shoot someone else down or blow some things up. I get that itch scratched via YAP2, IL2-1946, and FF5.
Thanks A2A for the dedication you bring to our individual alter egos.
