Item noted regarding no more FLT files from you, could you tell me what program/s you use to create the FLT files and I'll have a go at them. Your a brave man Ade! I do not know what Jan has used, but Ralf has the utilities which are the only ones which will completely edit all values in "planes.dat" and "*.flt" files. One of the biggest problems in EAW is the stupidity of having 30 individual "*.flt" files, but a single "planes.dat" file which covers all 30 slots in one file. If there is a fixed set of 30 aircraft then this is no problem, but if different planes are in the same slots in different years of a campaign then it becomes a monster. We provided a neat solution to this in OAW, by having a "*.flt" file and a script which is read when the data is loaded, and replaces the data for that aircraft in the "planes.dat" file. There are very few people who have the knowledge regarding the values displayed in these two editors to produce credible flight model files which give balanced performance tested online. Other modders seem to have borrowed flight files from other planes and substituted them for new ones. That's OK to get them working, but when the new scenario is used online the faults appear glaringly. Jel

Hi Mike. I do try my best to turn out good models. Sometimes, even knowing how to build an RS compliant model does not help. I've got a glitch which is only on one side of the model. Normally, these glitches are mirrored, but this one only shows part of the tail through the upper wing. I'll recheck the RS later tonight. As I want to get this bird out, ASAP. There will not be a dedicated cockpit, although I can supply a cockpit wing view, if someone wants to build one. Next project to be finished off, will be Moggy's Airspeed Oxford, which will need a skin.

excellent!!! was worth the wait Col. and i've made some headway with the Zep, which will also have damage modeling with two camo mockups and this base skin for somebody here to paint others... ...except the gondolas are going to be looking lame but i'll be posting action pics soon which will make ya forget about that. also doing Zeppelin tmods incase Pops/Tiger want to tetter them as targets and maybe a destroyed version to litter about the countryside...and these things ingame are big!!! about 10xlarger than the blimps which this one is the approx size of the M-Class (650') it was the Super Zeppelin used in the closing year of the war...cheers

Hi FlyRight. Nice bomb! You'll need one of those huge hangers to park it in?

not a clue...only other thing i was going to do was to creat a mooring, from a resized radar tower and lieve the rest to one of our target editors to stick them in place. itm heres how it looks on the ground... ...its sitting right behind default hanger which btw can just get resized/shape also! but it total point lenght is now reduced to 3500, it began to not look proportionl to other objects as well as inflight. what i can't find either is any drawings of the other zeppelins used in wwone.

FlyRight, I have some that I could email you. Email me at argonv at AOL dot com and I can scan them in for you. They are what Mossie and I used to create the Zeppelin L-11 for FS-WWI: I also have some internal pics of the gondolas. Here is some info and images: http://www.pugetairship.org/zeppelins/list_2.htmlP.S. Here is an actual photo of the L-11:

Gibbs---Seems to me the scale of the SE-5 is way off-- or at least the pilots are. That's a shockingly small airplane! Compare the pilots. I think you need a guy twice the size. --------- BTW, that Zeppelin is a monster! The damage model is beyond belief if lots of flame can be added, as said in the other WWI thread.
