No worries here. Was just picking.

Excellent excellent movie though. I have already watched it twice. This one should get a couple of Emmy's this year.

Oh wow, Kevin Bacon gets to play a US Marine officer again! Cool.

I tell you, he sure looks and acts the part. Bravo performance.

Here's a good one. He gets upgraded to first class on the aircraft carrying Chance. Guy next to him orders a drink, Kevin orders water. Guy says "So what, are you on duty?" Kevin says "Yes, I am."

The part that surprised me was when he decided to spend the night in the hangar with Chance's body.

Another part surprised me more.

Yeah I hear ya Tom.

I actually subscribed to HBO just to see it last night.

Well worth it too!

Very very moving.

Our Men and Women in the Armed Forces are indeed Heroes of the Highest Order.

This movie has inspired me immensely.

I don't want to turn this into a thread of spoilers, but just one more:

The part where Kevin is following the hearse and the semi truck starts to pass and sees the Marine and the flag draped coffin in the vehicle ahead. He puts on his lights and before you know it, there's a procession of vehicles all with their lights on. Man, that got me.

The one that got me the most was when Kevin Bacon was talking to the old vet and saying what he was doing wasn't important and he should be over there. The old vet looked at him and told him that he was Chances witness and that Chance would still be around as long as he was. The other one that really got to me was when he went to look at Chance's uniform to make sure he was squared away and was totally impressed at how good of a job they did and the care they put into it

I was just going to write one thing that got to me and as I started typing, I thought of another. I realized then that these aren't the only things that got to me. There was so much throughout the movie. The whole thing was hugely emotional for me. This ranks up there with the scene at the end of Saving Private Ryan when he asked his wife if he was a good man. Taking Chance is a whole long whirlwind of emotions.
