I have downloaded retail patches P1,P2,P3 and the 092006 patch.
Do I need to install all of them in sequence?
I was using oct patch and donīt remember the old patch sequence.

No. Here's what you do. It's all included right there in the CD.

1- WOV...a separate installation if you want to keep playing the game non-YAP also.
2- Patch1.exe
3- Patch2.exe
4- YAPv2.exe

Then joystick set up.
Then sit down and relax.
Then read the DIRECTIONS.
Then fly the practice missions.
Then say goodbye, you are going to war.

Okay, I'm really confused!

I've tried twice installing the YAP2 mod to my up to date Thirdwire patched version (Oct.08) of W.O.V. game but, it just crashes to desktop. What am I doing wrong?

Just a blanket reminder, DO NOT patch YAP2 to the Sept or Oct 08 patch or beyond.

With Vista, install to a folder other than program files. Make a folder on your desktop, name it whatever you wish, install and run the game from there. You'll get around Vista asking you "do you really want to do this" all the time.

I'm sorry to post here, don't really want to mess up this thread but...

YAP site is surely well done but I'm a bit fuzzy on what I find when I buy.

And as a side note the site seems down now. All I get when browsing the link is random commercial crap totally unrelated.

I have WoV and YAP2 installed but when I fly from a carrier I don't see all the eye candy thats showed in screen shots and videos


Have I done something wrong in my install or am I missin' an install procedure ?
