Hi Fran.

I said this before, but it's a real shame these super screenshots get deleted so quickly. frown

Sorry Folks

Had to delete a few posts with slot lists in them as
I'm revamping the layout to include the new FLT files
for attack plane/bomber slots, as mentioned earlier
have created single engine/rear cabin gun and slower
air speeds for b26, b17, b24, mossie, ju88a, ju88c,
410,and He111. Will post up a new slot list as soon as.
Pics reposted below.....

Salmson in the b17 slot, single engine smoke/flames
when hit and efficient rear gunner, airspeed 137mph.

'Camels' 45sqdn RFC versus Albatros CIII's with Dva escort.

'Camels 'RNAS 10 sqdn sorting Halberstadt CLII's.

Devoting a new hangar screen to RNAS 10 squadron, based on mark miller's
great original setting.

And one for the Morane 'N'

Yes Fran, some may think the above game captures are dollied up in
Photoshop, but not so....it's a patience stretching exercise of
taking 30-40 captures from a reverse external camera position
whilst flying through an oncoming melee with guns blazing, until
you get that elusive ..magic shot.

Let me add my gripe to Col.Gibbon's and Fran Zee's.

Those pics are too good to be lost.
Would you please post some in BIG format for us to use as wallpaper?

(Fran is right, BTW. Put some in the SimHQ screenshot forum. A little shock for Rise of Flight and Over Flanders Fields fans)

Now settle down there Woody, we're still needing a Dr1,
a Camel, a Pup, 2 Spads and a couple of bombers, plus a few
others...Spad 2 seater, Sopwith triplane, Bristol F2B....

The shots above are intended to give an idea of the in game
action that can be expected , but the 'Camels' are Nieuports
skinned to look like Camels...until we have the full set of
30 slots featuring all authentic WW1 aircraft, I'm not inclined
to post up screens anywhere else m8.

...........................................................

Here's a current slot list and all are working fine, but as
you can see in red some important models still need to be done.

British
Spit 1 slot - Camel F1
Spit 9 slot - Pup
Spit 14 slot - Se5a
Hurri slot - Nieuport 17
Typhoon slot - Sopwith triplane
Tempest slot - Bristol F2B
Mossie slot - Nieuport 12/2 seater

Allied
P51B slot - Nieuport 11/17
P51D slot - Nieuport 28/ SE5a
P38H slot - Nieuport 24
P38J slot - Morane 'N' ? / Spad 2 seater
P47C slot - Spad VII
P47D slot - Spad XIII
B24 slot - RE-8
B26 slot - Nieuport 12 bis
B17 slot - Salmson SA 2 / Handley Page

German
109E slot - Albatros DII
109G slot- Fokker DrI triplane
109K slot - Pfalz D III
110C slot - Albatros C III
110G slot - Halberstadt CLII brown
410 slot - Oeffag red
190A slot- Albatros DVa
190D slot - Albatros DrI triplane
262 slot - Fokker DVII/Oeffag green
Ju88A slot - Albatros CIII
Ju88C slot - Halberstadt CLII blue
ju87 slot - Aviatik CI grey
He111 slot - Aviatik CI brown - Gotha
V1 slot - Zeppelins

At present the sim is a single missions only version, I am not
skilled sufficiently to modify the Pilot Career section although
I have made some small changes to it..

Still need trench terrain, and target/bases done, these are complex
jobs presently in the capable hands of Pobs..

If the EAW community is keen to have WW1 version, I'm sure those
able to, will pitch in and help where they can...

New EAW Western Front logo to depict the 3 major
combatants, each of these icons appear individually
on pertinant screens throughout the game....

Hi Abe,

Sooooo, when do we get to fly this 'Bad Boy'

Oh!.....about that "New EAW Western Front logo to depict the 3 major
combatants"....like your useage of the 103 Aero Squadron symbol for the American contribution

Historically, I think you may have forgotten the French connection... seehearspeak

Cheers mate pilot

Have'nt forgotten the 'froggies' Larko, chose to
use the Sioux head symbol to represent the French
and Allies, as it was being used in early 1916 for
some French escadrilles including Lafayette and
subsequently the 103rd Pursuit Sqdn. in 1918.

As for us poor buggers, we have to be happy with
the RFC roundels and a kangaroo or maple leaf here
and there m8....

As mentioned above still a fair way to go .......
