ya Fran take the helmet off it'll be a while! only a few people are working on this...

a tip for using those rockets though! at the moment it has to hit the invisable V1 to destroy the airship and if the Ai can do it...i couldn't but its almost dead center with practice. i thought that was the best setting allowable for weakening the trajectory which was basically dynamite strapped to a stick with a short fuse, the next setting up looked too much like a Hvar or down was worst.

even though i guess-amated Zep hitbubble damage its not usable in the default V1 slot or any other slot because i don't know how to edit 1.28 formations so craft that big can benefit from an extended formation spacing since its has to be simular to the default V1 or the game crashes...

other things that can't be fixed yet are those wwii launch offsets as well as engine damage smoke to mention a few more glitches which can only get moved once flt.dats are established...its just one big WIP project, so itm i added another Spad variant in progress, i'll post momentarily...

a little known SPAD XVI twin seater fighter...

but over a 1000 were built and served in 32 escadrilles as well as the AEF until the Salmson came into service.

Progress on the L10 Zeppelin!

There is a major problem with the RS calc, which for a reason best described by Sydbod, does not like fully rounded shapes like the front of the Zeppelin. Sydbod helped me out in getting the front section working, by confirming I was not going mad, and telling me this shape should be very easy to create a manual RS, which after last nights sleep, and a EUREKA moment, worked first time.

Syd and me now need to turn our combined thoughts to the rear section, which is a curved cone with 4 fins. If that part of the model can be cracked the rest will be relatively easy.

Again many thanks to Sydbod for saving my sanity. smile

Beautiful work on the Zepp, so far.
My sympathies on the frustrations-- glad you got it cracked.

Oh, BTW, that Flying Tiger screenshot is outstanding. A work of art. Should be one of Skylark's calendars. Or at least posted on SimHQ's screenshots page in large format so everyone can see what we are up to.

No one will believe it's not "Photoshopped" to look like that.
But I know Ade Kelley. He once described his technique, and I'm sure it's the real thing, down to the fraction of a second when this actually happened.
Congrats, Ade!
