not so strange if you squint, that usually helps!!! got us through the PAW shapes for years i recall, besides its a beta setup as opposed to nothing at all...3 years in the waiting is long enough!!! and like everything else with eaw, it will mutate and if it doesn't? then those glitches didn't matter anyway!!!

Cruise Altitudes:-

Would like to lower all altitudes for
Western Front aircraft...are the cruise
altitudes editable or hard coded in the exe?

Default 1.2
random
low 0 - 4000' approx
medium 4000 - 14000' "
high 14000 - 25000' "
none

Preferred altitudes for WF :-

random
low 0 - 1500'
medium 1500 - 7000'
high 7000 - 15000'
none

and the equivalent in metres for germany and france

any help much appreciated...

ade help

Hello,

the cruise alt is hardcoded in general, but its never higher than the max altitude of one of the used planes.

So, if you set the max altitude of a plane to 15000 FEET, the cruise alt will be below it.

Greetings,

Knegel

what does hardcoded in general mean?

Hi,

hardcoded in general mean, that its hardcoded, but it get overtuned by the max alt of the plane.

"max alt" is a value in the flt files, with F-Edit you can edit them. smile

Greetings,

Knegel

having spent most of january in sub zero temps
becoming a grandad, thought a couple of winter models
would be in order......

Pobs me ol' m8...any progress with the trench
tiles and do you need any help with blending
and snaking them?

have duplicated airfield 06 (Lympne) for all, but
the tmods ie: 6 hangars, balloon, AA and tower
layout only reproduce at St.Omer, St Trond and
Lille...I remember you mentioning this to me...and
am wondering if you would be able to duplicate the
above layout for all airfields? (not sure how much
work I'm requesting here)

have a 1.28d - MP version (below) of WF done, however
activating the rollovers in the Config Screen
crashes the game.......anyone?

Still to go.....
targets/bases
altitudes
fokker Dr1
camel F1
gotha V
damaged trees located in trench tiles..
