Hi Ade,

it need a new exe to implement this.
I have the code ready and i increased the visibility of the bullets by changing the hardcoded colour(more contrast specialy to clouds).
If the new colors are not enough, with the next exe everybody can create a BulletColor.mpf file, here you can insert the color for the 4 gun types. From black, over blue, green, red, dark orange, orange, yellow, bright yellow, green etc, all is possible.

Greetings,

Knegel

Hi Ade,

create a BulletColor.txt and open it(notepad or so).

The exe will read the 1st 4 lines of this file.
Into each of this 4 lines you should insert a number(1 = red, 4 = Yellow, 3 = CYAN, 5 = Green, 7 = Orange 9 = bright Yellow, 11 dark orange).

Close the file and rename the extender to mpf, thats it.

Greetings,

Knegel

ralf...like this?

then rename .txt to .mpf

if the exe reads the first 4 lines,
do the colours need to be in any numerical
or colour order?

Only the numbers and only the 1st four lines get used.

So the entrys might be this:

7
7
7
7

then all bullets are just orange.

btw. you can D/L EAW1.28f(beta) at the Gens ftp server, the bullet colour code is included.

Possible a bum steer John!

If Ade has never set up 1.28F he should use the V3 installer from the link I posted in the 1.28F thread at the Gen.
The link is in the 13th post in the thread, and the date of the post is "Mon Feb 06, 2012 12:47 pm".

If Ade has not installed 1.28F he needs the extended CDFs and the EAWTM2 folder in the installation pack.
Anyone who has installed it just needs the V3 exe from the link you posted smile
