Hey chaps Ian P made a few wonderful airfields that go well with our newly released P47, the airfields match the textures of the Sqns represented etc.

However as a general freeware download I recommend his work to anyone wanting a ww2 airfield in there FSX world.

Theres a brilliant Halesworth (my home town) which is were the thunderbolts of the famous 56th first operated introducing the 'hun to the mighty bolt.

There is a brilliant forward operating base in burma, representing the 'forgotten war' great place to fly to and from and area to explore.

And various other UK airfields from various squarons both RAF and USAAF.

I fully recommend these wonderful little airfields. Remember the readme's!

Indeed...these are highly recommended. I've installed Ian's RAF Halesworth, which is a beautifully detailed WWII airfield complete with hangars, buildings, etc. As Lewis says, pay attention to the readme, as you'll need to download several readily available, free scenery addons to make this work as intended.

My WOPIII P-47 loves this place! beercheers
