Hey, last summer the navy base in the city held an 'open house' to the public, with lots of rides and amusement stuff for the kids, while opening up the ships and offering tours for the, erm, bigger kids wink My DSLR was still very new at the time, here are some shots I got:

Sweet, I wish our shipyard would do that! Portsmouth Naval Shipyard used to have family days and my uncle worked on base but you were never allowed near the subs. frown

True, and the even more cynical might point out that the only submarine pictured is in fact the fire-stricken Chicoutimi frown
