I think Coot has made me want to reinstall H&D 2 so when I play that mission, I'll be sure to post an AAR. smile

Excellent thumbsup , I look forward to your AAR.

I've had H&D2 since it came out but I've never been able to finish it either. I can't remember the name of the mission, but the mission where you are in a town and have to stop a tank column from passing through and you have a time limit is the farthest I remember getting. I think Burma is my next mission. I always remember liking the rainy setting and having to clear out all those crazy Japanese bunkers. You never know when one will be popping up out of the earth. And getting down in them too to clear them out...kind of creepy buisness.

That's one of the missions in the final campaign that takes place in Czechoslovakia. The key to that mission is placing mines in the street near the guard checkpoint and equipping at least one of your guys with a bazooka or panzerfaust.

Wow! If it's up there with the original Ghost Recon, I'm definitely going to find a copy come my next paycheck.

If you can find it vertical, they also made an expansion pack for H&D2 called Sabre Squadron. I haven't played much of the expansion though yet. New missions and some more weapons.

GoGamer or Amazon should have H&D 2. Check there.

Been a while since I played H&D2. Now you've made me reinstall it again. What an excellent game! Wish there was a H&D3 on the horizon.

Very cool AAR!

This is the type of mission I'm looking forward to with BlackFoot's projects; would simply love to go from insertion to extraction.

Heck, I'm thinking maybe SimHQ can create an H&D 2 channel on Teamspeak. I will be reinstalling the game tomorrow.

Thanks for reminding me of this game. I hope I can get some time to work on it again.

I got stuck on the first African mission in the Sabre Squadron expansion. I've kept my entire team alive through H&D2, but I can't even get into the town in Sabre Squadron. Any tips?

For anyone who would like some help with a walkthrough, these pages are still active.

Also, some may not know that the original game - H&D Deluxe - is available as a full free download.
