After much hair pulling and resisting urge after urge to dash this infernal computer to pieces, I got JF-15 to work at high res for the first time! Woot!

Details below:
I am running an Intel Dual core and a 9800GTX. I used Zeckensack's .84c glide wrapper. I am posting some screenshots and the actual glide files I used if you want to try. Just move all instances of glide.dll, glide2x.dll, and glide3x.dll out of the windows directory and replace them with the files in the .zip file. In my JF-15 all graphics are maxed and "No page flipping is selected." Hope it works for you.

-------------------
No graphical anomalies. No smudged HUD text. No UFC text smear. No ghosting cursors. No gridlines. Textures (especially terrain) are crystal clear smile There is one catch, enabling A/A or A/F results in ghosting cursor on the HUD, so keep it off. While they would be nice, at this res the sim wont look ugly with them off.

That's a feature, not a bug smile

I so want to play this game...never did when it came out. Had somewhat success with the Iran campaign last year on my XP-machine, but Iraq and user created missions crashed all the time on my XP machine...so damn fun flying the Strike Eagle.

Hey, UTR.
Are you asking in general? Recluse & I were flying it last night, just testing different settings. Works with dgVoodoo same as LB2 for me. Recluse had some unsolved pit fuzziness, but mine was fine other than the relatively faint grid lines regardless of AA/AF being on or off. Ran it at max 1920x1200 with no problems.

Cool! I was hoping to keep this as uncomplicated as possible. Thanks Eugene!

Not to worry I have re-read all your posts and now have the correct settings with beautiful crisp graphics. The clincher is setting the Max resolution to 1280*960 in the Glide Wrapper

What an old post you have revived! :p

Glad you were able to get it working. It's old as dirt, but it's still a great sim. Just wish it ran on Vista & Windows 7!
