Although I do speak some french, you do not have to be bi-lingual.

No, but it helps.

The Quebec legal system is so different from the rest of Canada, that the government typically employs french lawyers to deal with the civil code legal implications, while the rest of Canada is dealt with by an army of english speaking lawyers.

*chuckle* Its my favourite class too. That prof just doesn't like giving good marks! I swear her curve is tighter than a drum.
