Saturday, January 17, 2009 Be sure and read the conclusion (if not the whole AAR) of "vertical"'s space mission aboard the shuttle Discovery. Great stuff. http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2654262.html#top

Community news items, either post them in the community news or the appropriate news section...your choice. S3 (SimHQ Super Saturday) event schedules return, 02/07@ Noon eastern, GRAW2. Magnum will start organizing and scheduling events again for S3 (SimHQ's Super Saturday) Xbox 360 get together.
On Saturday, Feb. 7th starting at around Noon Eastern, (and usually lasting 3 to 4 hours), we will revisit one of the best tactical shooters on the 360... Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter 2, hopefully we can get enough for a full squad. Check to see what co-op missions you still need for the perfect co-op achievement, and we'll hit those missions in an effort to get everyone the achievements.
As usual, we will play with tactics and teamwork... one person will be in charge (the squad leader), the others broken into fireteams... Alpha, Bravo, Charlie... we will accomplish the mission using basic military tactics, and teamwork.
So be online 15 mins prior with the game running, so I know to invite you... if your late, no problem, join in...we will die alot, lol.
See you on the virtual battlefield.
PS: All for map packs are required along with the free in game Ubisoft map.
SimHQ Armed Assault Basic Military Course, (SAABMC), Thursday 02/05@ 2000 hrs eastern. SimHQ will be hosting a special event on our SimHQ Armed Assault server on Thursday, February 5th, at 2000 hours Eastern.
Wepps has made a special mission, called SimHQ training, for the event... Magnum will be the lead instructor and squad leader in game, we will then have fireteams filled up. We will then cover the squad layout, fireteam tactics, role of individuals, then different movements, then set up a ambush, then assault an objective, then hold the objective.
This training is based on Magnum's 5 tactical brief articles in the land and armor sub-section of SimHQ. It will take only 45 mins to an hour. And can be repeated if needed.
If interested, be online 15 mins prior in our SimHQ TS for the invite.
I recommend you DO NOT play the training mission alone or before the class.
Hope to see you all their.
