I don't know whether Gameplanet Australia is correct in claiming that the sim will be released on 12 February, but if they are then folks will need to do some reading up on tactics.

Hope they hurry up, I built a Vista box just so I'd have DX10.

DX10 is highly over-rated in my opinion, but that is a different subject.

Good to see that the PT boats forum is back to life after a long absence.

Not gonna argue with that, but I spent too much time drooling over Akella's DX9/10 comparison video not to try. If nothing else, I can rag on Vista properly having used the thing.

Ok, going off track from PT Boats, but.... Me too I have the Home Premium Edition after being a steadfast XP Pro supporter. But I built a new machine recently, last August, and my friends talked me into using Vista, over XP Pro, because they said all the problems that they had upon its dismal release had been corrected with SP1. And me too I wanted to see all of the 'bells & whistles' that Vista with DX10 would look like. I bought Crysis, and was totally disappointed. And upon that, there were older games that I could play very well with XP Pro, that either will not run or I have continual problems playing. And that is even using that 'compatibility mode', and ensuring my drivers were up-to-date. I wish I could just scrap Vista and load a new copy of XP Pro, but I don't have the money for an UPGRADE like that.
