Greetings All,

Been offline far too long. I have been reading threads about the channel map mods. Looks great! I have been searching thru threads but am still a bit confused. Does anyone have links to the AAA site and or links to the downloads and instructions on installing. Thanks in advance.

I dont know what CannonUK's schedule is looking like with a newborn keeping him occupied, but the 352nd Cross Channel Map is, to quote a Olegisum, "Soon, be sure" (tm).......

I've just added Compans photo-realistic textures to Canon's Channel map and it looks amazing. For flying on the LW10 BoB dogfight server at Hyperlobby

There's an '@Swoop' thread over at our place with help from Trooper and Swoop if you get stuck, it's well worth installing the new textures I can promise you- Compers is the man. Well we knew that already but- Smile2

Anyway, Ming is right. I posted a quick and dirty here about how to install the map. Basically:

1. AAA Mod 1.0
2. CannonUK's Map
3. Compans photo-realistic textures
4. Info of Planes needed for the LW10_Server are where Ming said

As a side note, they are coming up with AAA Mod 1.1 my guess is early next week, basically MrJolly looks at all the mods out there and makes one .exe that installs all of them in one swoop.

It is designed with a Mod switcher - so that you can have 1 install of IL-2 with the ability of switching b/w 4.08M, 4.08M (w/mods), 4.09M beta & 4.09M beta (w/mods) with the click of a button.

There are guidelines to which we can discuss Mods here to prevent WW III from breaking out b/w the puritans and the modernist. LOL

My map is coming along well smile I'm managing to find time to work on it. The beta is already out on AAA, but the final version is still under progress.

OK, more questions from the newbie so please bear with me. smile I found the AAA site and I assume AAA mod 1.0 is the Unified Installer 1.0? Also Where do I find the download for Canon's map? I'm sure I have looked right at it. LOL And finally do I see a 6DOF mod for IL2? Can that be used in the servers at HL? Thanks again guys. Sorry to be a pest.
