I'm happy to announce Shepski has agreed to be our training instructor for multiple DCS: Black Shark sessions. Shep knows DCS: Black Shark inside and out, and can help you with those stubborn flight tactics you just cannot get under control.

The 1-hour beginners class will be Saturday, January 24th at 12 PM eastern US time.

The 1-hour intermediate class will be Saturday, January 24th at 1:30 PM eastern US time.

The 2-hour advanced class will be held in February. Date and time TBD.

Class will be limited to the first 15 students. If you would like to participate, post in this thread which session you want to join. Please limit your registration to one class. Staff will join the training sessions only after regular members have an opportunity to register and if there are vacancies. The training will be held on the SimHQ DCS: Black Shark Server. Teamspeak 2-way comms is mandatory to enetring the class.

If the BS server is full, will it be ok to just listen in on TS without risking server overstress and spoiling the event??

please sign me up for the intermediate class for now, though I'd like to know at what level one should apply for what class. I can fly (more or less) shoot (if it doesn't shoot back) and mess about, but none of these I do well enough to want to start the campaign yet. I also wouldn't like to have missed something important in the beginners class.

If at any point the rules are relaxed and we're allowed to join more than 1, I'd be really keen for all 3!

I'm assuming that the beginner class is for peeps who are not comfortable with take off, landings and basic maneuvers. I am able to go to battle, blow things up and so on so I hope this is the right class!
