tmdgm SimHQ Member Registered: 03/13/02 Posts: 606 Loc: Toledo, OH USA	Hi, I'm usually an air combat guy or SH3, but was looking to try a tank sim. Can anyone recommend any? Modern or WWII is fine. Looks like steel beasts Pro and the new t-34 vs tiger are two. amd 64 3500+ 2 GB sdram geforce 6800gt

Orangutan SimHQ Member Registered: 12/16/99 Posts: 751 Loc: Helsinki, Finland	I'd suggest you check out the SimHQ reviews on both. Plus Steel Fury, if you are looking for an offline title. I'd suggest you get all three. The genre is not that crowded.

What he means by "online" is that it has online capability unlike Steel Fury. And T vs. T does not have very many single player missions, so many people consider it primarily an online sim. But it's really both SP and MP. _________________________ Playing the games only God could've made: Ghost Recon (classic with 300 expansions, total conversions, and mods); Rainbow Six (original); Rogue Spear (Urban Ops and Black Thorn); NASCAR Racing 2003 Season; Grand Prix Legends.... I think they mean the same game. All you need to know is this: T v. T and Steel Fury = $40-$50. Steel Beasts Pro PE = $125. If you have the cash, do what you want. godzilla1985 SimHQ Member Registered: 11/22/07 Posts: 204 Loc: Pa	Hi tmdgm, Heres my spec's emachines AMD 3800+ 2.4 running Vista 32 Home Premium 2 mb sdram Geforce 7600GT 512mb 17" LCD Monitor at 1440x900 75mhz desktop resolution , game running at same desktop resolution DX10 Game runs pretty smooth, no hangs or stutters. All options set a little above what the game recomended. During heavy action FPS stays around 20-25. Hope this helped.
