First time ever so this as well. Would indeed like more information on this simulation. Simply stunning! Thanks for sharing.

Really surprised the link was not posted with the review. Have had the demo on my computer
since last May.

Isn't there an old Shuttle Simulator that is like freeware now and real ugly? I remember it being ported to the old NES.

Audio: overwhelming to me. You can set the music background on top of it to. But you really
need and education in operations to know what it all means. Was going to buy it until I
downloaded and read some of the manuals. Good luck, you will need a lot of time to understand it all. cheers

This sim is great ! I havent played for a while cause it was a real time consumer. Still I managed to finish a couple of missions, EVA's and some launching of satelites. Most of the missions had the valuable help of the robotic arm (SRMS). The correct operation is a real challenge but it feels great when you grab somethin' ;D

I made the front page of SimHQ, hi mom!

If you've got one, if not keyboard. I (apparently like many) prefer using the keyboard for RMS manipulation/RCS translation and the joystick for RCS rotation and landing. Keep in mind all of ascent and reentry up to ~80,000 feet are flown by the flight computers. While there is a 3D cockpit that is track IR (and 3d goggles compatible), you can only push buttons in the 2D cockpit. But pretty much every switch is clickable, and the systems simulation in SSM07 is right up there with PMDG FS addons.

Love to see a reentry and landing!

Soon enough smile. I'll try and finish up the Hubble deployment tonight when I get back from work. Then next up will be de-orb and reentry.
