Understand about those three... But TERRAIN_DETAIL_LEBANON.dds was a photorealistic one, a new one is not. Maybe it's better to return it with future releases (patches)?

Well it was only used for the road sides, so having such a huge texture for such a small area I think was misuse of resources. If you like the texture maybe it would be better to use it somewhere else?

BTW which map are you talking about? The only place I can see where i was a 1MB texture was Cuba, all the others used a 256kb one. And that texture did look out of place along the roads there...

Some of the values make a difference. Like guidance for the weapons changes if and how the weapon can be spoofed (IR missiles can, SACLOS missiles can't), and range obviously decided from how far it can be launched.

Cruise speed decides what speed the AI vehicle will use when moving. It doesn't have to correspond to a real life value, it's just what speed you want it to move. Though it shouldn't be faster than it's real life top speed of course smile Rotor diameter and configuration I don't think make any difference for AI aircraft, and for player controlled one it's defined someplace else.

Ok, rotor values are superfluous then?, i have changed the guidance sstems and cruise speeds to real life values, so i guess that is ok right?, i mean, i DO want them to move at the speed they should move in real life :P, one or two missiles that are SACLOS were set as IR in the game (surface-surface ATGM's), some laser beam riding missiles were set as semi active laser, some semi active radar missiles were set as ir and some ir were set as active radar, overall, it looked like somebody wanted the CIS weapons to be silly and inferior and the yanqui/yankee weapons to be superior and overkilling.
Rotor configuration is also superfluous?, that is really sad, i could had sworn that i see a better bahaviour on the twin rotor choppers frown .
I set the ranges to maximum (usable) values, not maximum values, because aparently many many missiles can fly farther than their "maximum" range, but they can not engage any target at that point.

Hi Arneh,
just flew few mission in Lybia with Mi24 and holly cow. Thanks a lot for this great Hind experience. One thing bugged me - how i can fire turret gun on target? it always fire straight on.

Do you mean from AI helicopters or helicopters you fly yourself? And which ones?

Well, there is a value for effective range and one for maximum range...

I wrote on the wiki earlier today about how to use the Mi-24's weapons. Haven't had time to make images yet though.

On the AI Ch-46 and AI Ka-29, i thought that the momentum-inertia relation was more smooth and less robotic, also, they were slower to turn on their axis, and they turned in circles better (that is what i thought i see).
SOOOOO, really?, that is why this is a WIP dude biggrin!, i am sticking my nose on the CSV RIGHT NOW sir!.
Alejandro out... :P
