I need Massive help Installed Comanche vs Hokum and updated it to 1.4.1C

But when I load Any mission(campaign,skirmish,free flight) I get corrupted textures.

I cant see more than a couple of inches from my helicopter
and the helicopter itself starts dissappearing when i start zooming out from it
you can only see the blue sky and the white horizon.

I Have an INTEL GM965 EXPRESS CHIPSET it must be non supported because I installed the game on my bros comp and it works fine.

I'm not sure it's your MB chipset that's the problem..what graphic's card are you using?

If you do a search there are some member's that are having graphic problem's with more up to date GPU's...

MY MB chipset is an "INTEL GM965 EXPRESS CHIPSET"

WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION ORIGINALLY WINDOWS VISTA BUT I DOWNGRADED IT

1)-1 GB RAM

2)-2.0GHZ CORE 2 DUO

3)-160GB HD

Ive tried everysingle possible combination with the EECH.INI
setting but it has come to no avail.

even deleted game.cfg and the EECH.ini file with no luck please help meh!

Try the New 1.11 All Mods Patch with a fresh reinstall. 1.4.1c is and old install

I did that and it has the same problem

could it be that when I run dxdiag under the display tab

It Marks, "AGP Texture Accelaration: Not Available"

I have no clue on how to fix this im willing to say its not the game, because like I said it runs fine on my bros comp he has an ATI 9600 Pro(I know its old)...

Hi you dont have Texturee Acceleration Probally because your Onboard Graphics card does NOT support it. I would look into getting a 7900GTX or 7950 GT Vid card if you wanna play EECH1


EDIT: I believe you can use the 8000 series with Certain Drivers

I know but im trying to get this game to work on my laptop it works fine on my desktop

Is AGP accelaration required to be able to play EECH1?

I had a dell laptop with a GMA915 and the game ran fine. Got a new laptop with a GMA965 in it, and I had the same problems you're having. This was around last March or April. I'm sorry to say that I never got it figured out. I think you're the only person I've ever seen post the same problem. Maybe you're onto something with the AGP acceleration thing...?

I gave up EECH and play gunship! now instead, but it's a very different game and in some ways not nearly as satisfying for my Helo cravings.

Please let me know if you get it sorted out at all, or if there's anything I can do to help you trouble shoot.

I dont know it might just be Windows Xp itself I was able to run it in vista home basic EECH1 and EECH2

But I had to downgrade it, my laptop didnt come with vista installation disks.

by the way EECH2 works fine in windows xp as long as you turn TEXTURE QUALITY to "LOW"

I also have serious problems with corrupted graphics using this update. My system is as follows.

Core2 Quad 2.6Ghz
nVidia 8800 GTS 512
4GB RAM
Vista Ultimate x64
Asus Maximus Formula X38 MB

I have the latest graphics drivers, latest DX10 update, and latest MB BIOS. Still no dice.

This is after a clean install of EECH and application of the patch.

I'm not the expert here, but from what I've read: that's exactly your problem ... the latest nvidia drivers are not compatible with EECH1(-modded) !
An earlier version reportedly works for EECH1.
I have v78.03 and old card (6800gt) and it works fine.
8800 series should work with older drivers (or so I heard).
