I think its a good idea, and once people start building custom missions it should get moving. Currently I cant see there being enough multiplay mapping/missions to keep the momentum going, but a HQ server would make a great training server if players used the HQ TS server as well.

Maybe although I think hyperlobby probably will have a server up as well.

Depend on the realism settings. I haven't flown it yet so I don't know what settings I will use after I get used to the game. I suspect all of the manual startup procedure stuff will get old pretty fast and will be tossed to the wayside after a couple of tries.

Hi,

I voted yes but I have to add a note. I have everything I need to join MP but have never actually done it. I want to get onboard but have not commited the time so I will require instruction. Just an FYI.

Thanks,

Ideas on this...

It would not be running 24/7.

Events would happen on the weekend to maximize worldwide access.

- One time for cadet training (led by a seasoned DCS:BS tester).
- One time for head-2-head in game mode.
- One time for coop campaign multiplayer.

Yes, if I had BlackShark and SimHQ would host a Multiplayer Server, I would use it !

Sounds great !
Not like LOMAC, very rare serers to find in Hyperlobby.

See you when I have Black Shark !

I would definately use it as you can trust the people in SimHQ servers (usually) smile

the only down side (for me)is the time zone frown I played on the ARMA server a few times but had to stay up till 3am to do so sleepy

I plan to download it and do some testing this weekend. Watch for an announcement inviting everyone to do some testing.

I would because I prefer this community to others and it would be great flying with people that I've come to know. Naturally I'm sure it would have many people that I don't know, but just having a handful of people that I've talked to for these few years would likely make the experience that much more enjoyable.

Voted yes - But with a preference for training flights. I've not been inspired to sit down and read as much since DI's Tornado.

cheers

Never used any SimHQ server yet but would definetly give it a go!

P.S.

I used to live off Mackintosh Place near Roath Park. (gosh, 25 years ago... I'm getting old)

.

I haven't read the 8000-page manual yet ... will the Multiplay be able to Hot-Join?

I voted yes. I wonder if the Russian and English versions are compatible online...

... YIKES ... never thought of that. I'd imagine that the developers thought of it. Especially with the target audience.
