I think we are closer than the traditional two weeks. I think we are at ten days to go. What started as a 3 month upgrade has taken a year.
Everything seems to work. Some last minute fixes getting our Cobra test pilot into the Cobra. Some last minute inventions. At least two of each carrier class are done. Some pics of the Constellation or the Kitty Hawk.

Waist cat shot off the Constellation in Hai Duong Bridges, the strike that Cunningham was covering. (This is my screensaver shot.) You are element lead. I love those Essex Class carriers but this big deck is nice and the Forrestal is nicer and the E is even nicer. We found out why it's hard to stick a carrier landing. It's a easier now. Hard as hell but easier.


...and this is the first time I landed the Fat Face at the A Shau strip, picked up the downed pilot and got away to safety to land at Danang in Hobo 51
