Ok, I got it. The .miz file is indeed a packed file, I can open it with WinRar/WinZip and see the two files you mentioned. But you don't need to unpack it.

Simply place the downloaded file into your mission directory. Don't unzip, don't unrar it, simply place the file tutorial01 you downloaded in the mission folder, start the game and see if it shows up.

Sorry PB,
I tried that and it won`t show up.
LOL, funny how the tinyest thigs are impossible. I `m going out to blow up some tanks and I`m unable to move some small data files around. Oh well.

Honestly, I'm at a total loss here. nope

I just renamed the original tutorial01 file in the mission folder, then downloaded (right-click, save as) the file 'tutorial01' as linked in my post. Then I right-clicked on the downloaded file, ->cut, and pasted it into the mission folder.

Started BS and I can select it in the mission screen without any problems.

I have no idea what the problem is, I'm sending the file to your email address now, but I doubt it'll change much.

Could anyone please download the file, place it in the correct folder and report back if there's a problem?

Just tried - It all works as advertised. Mission appears in menu.

Perhaps Norwegian could check the file name?

I'm not sure how the file might appear as zipped. Mine has a .MIZ tag as downloaded.

Cheers!

Edit - Using Firefox, too.

The problem only happens with Internet Explorer. If I right-click-save in Firefox I get the correct file.

No problems here, just flew the mission and it was great.
Drifted in to firing range of the tanks twice, while fiddling with the weapon systems, but got back at them the third time attack
Feels kind of wrong to shoot at my old ride though! But hey, they drew first blood, not me cool

Thanks alot for the mission!

And I'm using Firefox too, if that helps any..

I hope Para_bellum will forgive me, but I took the liberty to create an PDF of the tutorial, for ease of printnig for people.

It's currently at

http://home.ifi.uio.no/~oysteint/test/Black_Shark_tutorial.pdf

Cheers
