Try as I might I can't find a previous version of the Saitek profiling software with the 3D diagram of the throttle and stick. All I can find is the new version, with table of buttons and assignments which I find confusing to say the least.

Anyone got the old version or a link to it?

This the SST software for the Saitek X45 HOTAS and HTML manual.
It's come from the installation CD companion of Saitek X45 V1.0
I suppose you can install it less the complete CD (340 MB) as the folder contain a EXE .. a setup.exe and many CAB subfolders.
Size = 8 MB

I'm really struggling here though. No matter which drivers I use I can't get the stick to operate properly. It's calibrated perfectly in XP but in any game as soon as I use the controls the stick locks down and right, the rudder locks left and the throttle packs in. There is input when I move the controls, but it's nowhere near what it should be.

Stick was working perfrectly when I packed it away earlier in the year.
