Spa in the DBR9 is certainly not the flat-out place it is in an F1 car... I managed a 2:18.6 tonight, but there's still lots of setup work to be done.

The DBR9 feels so good round this track though once you accept it isnt an f1 car. Lol.

I'm gonna sign up in one, not sure what the name of the team is off the top of my head though, but i do know the car has a Union Jack on the roof.

I added you to the signup list, Andrew. Just let me know the number when you have a chance.

I lowered my best DBR9 time to a 2:17.2x last night, beating all of the AI by a second. That felt nice. There are no rF rank times for this car/lap combination, so I have no idea how good that is.

The fuel calculation is way off for the DBR9 at Spa (don't know how accurate it is at other tracks). The garage menu says you will get 12 laps out of your 100L full tank, but in reality it's more like 18 or 19.

When i join the server, it says i cant race because of the mismatch in cars, but it still lets me drive, is that ok or am i doing something wrong?

No, that's not OK. By default rFactor servers are set to kick mismatched cars during a race. You can practice, but when the race starts you will be auto-booted. More to the point, anyone else will see your car as a temp car while you are on the server.

Since there are no patches to either mod, I don't really know what the problem might be. All I can suggest is that you check your install paths and/or reinstall.

EDIT: I'm guessing you're driving the DBR9 mod. Do you have the ILMS mod installed? You have to install all of the cars permitted by the server to race online in multi-vehicle, multi-class events.

Looks like the Time-scaled mechanical failures are working as advertised. I just ran a 5-lap race at Le Mans with 4 prototypes and 2 other GTs. One of the GT engines expired on lap 4, and all of the others died on the cool-down lap.

Hopefully I can make it to most, if not all.

Is anyone getting stuttering as they go around the left-hand portion of Les Combes at Spa? I get it a lot on my first lap on the server, and then it never happens again.
