Yay I made the podium in my class.

I did some practice with guod last night (darn shame he didn't get to run) and settled on a 2 stop strategy, aiming at 2:28 laps. For whatever reasons I wound up in 4th right off the bat and seemed to just hang there. Laps were 2:20 range IIRC, and my fuel economy was better than I expected.

Never passed a car, never was passed for position (that I recall). After the start it was just me and occasionally a flash of color in the mirror, to the end. Ktel had a good pace near mine or likely just a touch faster (or seemed so while I was trying to not get too distracted), too bad we didn't get to meet on the track for position.

Tooooo many mistakes from me. Spent the race chasing you down but it was a slow process as our lap times were for the most part within a second of each other. Frustratingly, every time I was getting close enough to start putting pressure on you I would spin it or similar and open the gap back up. I stayed out for an extra lap than planned when I saw you pit and nearly fluffed it as by the time I pitted my fuel reading was 1 litre. You went by as I was in the pits and normal service resumed, chase, spin and repeat. Was very surprised to see you pull into the pits for a second stop(high boost setting?), you would have retained the position if you had stayed out. I was closing on you, but not fast enough to have taken the position without your 2nd stop.

Thought my race was over on the first lap as I hit Joes wheel, expected to see my engine die..
