Hello,

To anyone who is remotely interested, im gonna log my experiment of building a homemade cockpit and Formula 1 wheel to replace the standard G25 one.

Im a Carpenter so i thought if your everyday guy can do it, i should be able to. Lol.

I have gathered some materials together, and im now ready to start building.
Im using MDF for the cockpit and also for the wheel.
Im undecided which teams to replicate, but im thinking it will probably be Mclarens.
I have a shift indicator and several buttons to go on an old controller switch board.

I have some CST F1 pedals on order aswell, so hopefully in 6 weeks or so everything will be ready.

I'm gonna try and update as i go, with pictures etc.

Thanks for taking the time to log your work Andrew. We will all most likely be envious when you are done. In case you haven't already read my thread concerning the G25 pedal adapter, which has a photo of a custom F1 wheel, this might be of interest.
