Ming, somehow I doubt that you can ever be an "unwitting" victim ... of anything.

Just say "two weeks" and his world crumbles, oh yeah!!!

Thanks Booze! Really nice and wow a huge airfield there.. I just got a thought of modelling in a Lotus 7 and putting it in so I could drive around that airfield and do some power slides.. Wait, oh yeah.. this is a flight sim.. smile Really looking forward to this map.. may it soon be available.. wink

Question for the 352nd Mod Team - Are you guys working on both maps concurrently? Just asking a question and this is just for my information smile (...I am not getting impatient)

From the looks of some of those larger airfields, I don't see why we couldn't go ahead and use this map for later war scenerios, too. Those hardened runways will certainly handle Thunderbolts and Mustangs, and they seemlong enough to accomodate Forts.
And X-Man, I'm sure there are fields on the continent that can operate 190's.
Least, I hope so.

Wonderful work - the airfields are sooo much better than anything we have at present. Not being nit picky - to me there seem to be a few too many pointed northern pine type trees for southern England. Otherwise absolutely fantastic work. Pointy trees or not I will probably live on this map when it sits in my computer. Brilliant work everyone. I am envious of your skill, dedication and time that you are devoting to this.

Reply for X_Man:

While we are concentrating on completing the 1940-BoB version, a lot of the prep work is being done for the late war map as well just by the nature of the work we do on this map. Much like the Slot maps, there will be changes "over time" to facilities, etc. So, you may see a base look one way in the BoB version, but be upgraded or changed in the Late War version - as it would have been. Or, know a base was located at some place on the map that doesn't exist at the time of BoB, but appears later as a part of turning the British Isles into a veritable floating aircraft carrier.

Reply for RedToo:

When someone breaks the 'code' for those treelines, trust me, we'll integrate some White Pine, English Oak and Elm into the mix.
