With the exeption of the LNER A4 type I've never made any british railway vehicle. All you see on Oleg's last posts have been made/redone by MG. Well, almost. The tracks are mine ;\) As I've stated all the time my job is to build german railway stuff.

@Freycinet: since my dictionary tells me that "anorak" is a rather bad word I don't know exactly what to respond to your post. I only want to meet the high standard set by MG.

He used anorak because ferroequinologist is really, really hard to spell.

I don't think he meant it in a mean way.

Trains are fascinating. Train geeks are, too.

In fact, I find people that know a lot - I mean just about everything - about one thing that would otherwise have nothing to do with them (like WWII aviation or the history of spoons) incredibly interesting.

Anyhow, it's beautiful stuff. Almost a shame we'll be shooting at them.

In 'Tempest Pilot' by Sheddan (?), I read a few months ago, he stated they used to shoot at the cylinders on German locos; since they were the hardest thing to replace. Lord knows how they did that whilst in a 400 mph dive, but that's what the passage says. Maybe if we get monster 6'x 6' wraparound screens at some point in the projected 8-10 (?) year life span of SoW, it might be possible.

Should be hit easily, on the big steamers the cylinders are massive blocks at 1,20 x 1,40 meters. With a .50 spreader this job shouldn't be a big problem ;\)

Foo'bar, anorak was definitely not meant in a bad way. In my understanding it means somebody with a very strong interest in something very particular. We are all WWII aviation anoraks in here!

Hey Freycinet, thank you for that clarification \:\) Leo meant something like "whippersnapper" or "smart-arse". Cheers! \:\)

I think this game needs more Cow Bell. You can't get enough Cow Bell in A Sim. That and 1939 fighters.

So, true. So, incredibly true.
(does anyone have some good cow-bell audio? We should be able to make a mod with the new tools... paradise)
