After the beatin' she took this year (and in the past) my buddy's thinking of retiring the body. We have a "new" 1995 white donor body and will swap all the innerds from the green one to the new one. Hopefully we can run the Snot Rocket one more year though...I dig the paint.

BTW when it was new this color of green was a limited edition. There aren't too many with this color left. Chad actually has all of the original paint bombs (touch up paint) that are left in the world that he knows of. He bought them all up from all over the world through eBay, dealers, and drivers. There are about 3 pints left in his garage.
The car itself was a special edition ACR car (American Club Racer) from the dealer. You had to be in the SCCA to even buy one. It came stock with a performance transmission and beefier suspension. This was way back when Chrysler was still supporting club racing...they pulled out around 2001 maybe and it was the downfall of seeing so many Neons on courses anymore. Most of the old Neon guys sold their cars and moved to Spec Miatas because Mazda supports so much club racing now. The commercial is right...on any given weekend there are more Mazdas racing than any other make.
