Hello everybody!

I attended a small airshow in Devon on Thursday. A brilliant venue although you do need a telescope at times to get close to anything. I was stood on a unique vantage point where you do get very close to the action at the edge of the display line.

Here are the shots:

Cheers,
Andy

Small? They got the Red Arrows to fly by, that must have been cool.

The lighting on that last shot is awesome!

Cheers Dave.

It's run entirely by volunteers and their budget is made up of public donations with no local government funding. They had a small number of local businesses sponsor some of the display teams and when you compare that to all the other shows in the UK, its some feat!

The RAF events team love this venue so the reason why they supplied nearly their entire set of display teams for the show.

Also, unlike most other airshows in the UK, this one is also free to the public.

Incredible achievement and it is only going to get bigger and better.

Beautiful shots, as always Andy!

I really like 5, 20 and 22 - very nice colors. I've yet to see the Red Arrows myself, but hopefully some day. And of course it's always nice to see a Typhoon.

21, 22 and 23 are superb! 21 is really good, you've captured both the action and the crowd. Nice! \:\)

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

Superb shots from one of my favourite parts of the UK. In fact I am going down there in 4 weeks.

The white buildings you can see in the background in 9 and 14 etc is Exmouth. I only wish that display had been on when I was there!
