I thought he'd left the other day, he comes back more times than a boomerang.

He may in fact be Australian, you just never know.

If you've ever heard Thomas on Teamspeak you would have serious doubt that he is Australian. \:\)

Too bad Thomas has left us. I guess he gets fed up easily. On the topic of the thread, I see no reason to play one sim only, and uninstall other software. Each sim has its strengths and weaknesses.

Well, I'm not sure what kind of a reaction he was expecting? This thread is practically a slap in the face to all of us still racing at SimHQ.

One thing I have learned with my time in various leagues is that people leave. It happens all the time, they get mad, or bored, or life happens and they go on. When people make a post like he did and request their account be deleted, they are wanting attention. They may not realize it, but thats what they want. But the other thing I have learned is that if you spend your time chasing after one person and begging them to stay, you will be doing it all the time.

And I agree with the person who said they see no point in uninstalling a SIM. I have GPL, N2003, F1-2002, F1C, GTR,GTL, GTR2, rFactor, Race07, hmmmm.... that may be all of them. But I occasionally will fire up an oldie and give it a spin, it doesnt cost anything to keep a game around on your pc.

What was his original post, was it offensive?

No it wasnt anything offensive, just kind of a rFactor sucks and you guys wont play my game so I am leaving. Made it sound like those who continue to play rFactor are just tards or something. Not a big deal, everyone is allowed an opinion.

that's a shame. He really seemed to enjoy iRacing and was the biggest proponent at SimHQ of this game...guess one of you will have to take his place!

Thomas will be missed. He was one heck of a competitor and was very fun to drive against.

With that, we don't need to talk about him while he's gone so I'm closing this topic.
