Anyone have problems like this? Flying IFR I can receive and administer IFR instructions within the ATC window until vectored to final destination. Upon rec'ing vector instructions to final destination airport I can call up the ATC window ok, but there are no selections available to choose from inside of the ATC window. At that point since I can no longer respond to ATC, ATC terminates service and IFR and Radar services terminated. Well, I would respond if there were a selection to respond to inside of the ATC window. In other words, ATC window pops up but there are no selections within the ATC window. Every IFR flight, any plane. I'm supposedly reporting back to MS test results but it's getting old replying "same problem".

I have FSX SP2 and I have a similar problem from time to time. Sometimes if I switch to the secondary channel and then back they will pop up.

If you're suggesting switching to COM 2 that's a good idea, I'll try that. Many thanks.

Selecting COM 2 temporarily solves the problem where MS outsourced technical help (?) could not offer a fix. Outsourced tech help polite but USMC Beans created the band-aid for the fix and the win. Thanks again.

I think what you are experiencing is similar to something I have seen, and my remedy is to turn off the ATC window and back on. that seems to wake up the input ability.
