Yes, thanks a lot! They are very nice, particularly the Tobrouk and Belgium ones.

I just want to be clear. Is this v9 the Full install or do you need to load the original v1 through v8 first?
Just wandering since it is referred to as an Upgrade.
Thanks, vtrelut.

Actually this is an upgrade, and it requires skins contained in versions v1 through v8. However, it is even better to install the skin patches from EnjoyR, and then just the version 9 upgrade, because the skins contained in v1 through v8 are all included already in EnjoyR skin patches. As far as the campaign files are concerned, they are ALL included in the version 9 upgrade.
In short:
1) Install the EnjoyR skin patches
2) Install version 9 of my compaigns
Of course you can also install v1 through v8, and then version 9 if you like, but you will get more skins if you follow my recommendation above, which is to install version 9 on a basis with EnjoyR skin patches already installed.
Have fun,
Vincent

Hello guys,
My campaigns are now upgraded with the modded Curtiss H-75 A2, a new flyable plane by UF_Josse. It is a real joy to fly, and also more realistic IMHO.
These enhanced campaigns are available at M4T, in the specialised downloads category.
Cheers,
Vincent

Hello Vincent,
Sorry for a somewhat silly question : is your campaign still fully compatible with set-ups that do not include any mods (through sheer laziness) ?
And on a more general note, if yes, is the compatibility depending on the decision made by the modder or is it just a natural fact, the mod-compatibility being nothing more than merely adding possibilities in the campaign ?
Congratulation for your effort. Nice to see you in the Yakasuni museum.

Hello SG1,
Your question is not silly. Thanks for asking it.
My campaigns are fully compatible with set-ups that do not include any mods, unless you put the new pack I just uploaded. The new modded pack I uploaded on M4T and Combat Ace includes data bases referring to a new plane, the Curtiss H-75A2; it also includes a DGen.exe that replaces the P-36A3 by the Curtiss H-75A2. So if you activate this pack on a game set-up without the required mods, it will not work, simply because the game won't accept the Curtiss H-75 A2 even just as AI. So it is not recommended to install the modded pack on an unmodded game, because the modded pack is designed to work with certain mods... don't worrry, everything is explained in the read-me.
If you install just the version 9, i.e. French Wings 1940-1945: Like no other pilot, it is fully compatible with an unmodded game. No problem at all.
If you then mod your game, you will see automatically new content with the possibility to fly the MS406 and the P-36A3. This content is already included in version 9, but visible and activated only after you mod your game. It does not create any problem if you have no mods installed, it is just invisible and not available if your game is unmodded. In fact without mods there are less campaigns, but you won't notice it, and it will not disturb anything, so it is fully compatible with both modded and unmodded set-ups.
If you mod your game with the sound mod and the Curtiss H-75 A2, and then install the modded pack, you will have the P-36A3 replaced by the H-75 A2. And then you need this plane, or there will be errors and missions won't load.
Conclusion: a lot more content if you mod your game, and more realistic campaigns if you install both the new H-75 A2 and the modded campaigns' pack. In particular, all 4 groups flying the Curtiss H-75 A2 (GC I/5, I/4, II/4, II/5) have extended campaigns including the Phoney War, the Battle of France, Mers el-Kébir, Dakar, operation Torch... And it is important because these 4 groups got the best results among all French fighter groups during the Battle of France, and some of them participated to extraordinary and truly poignant air battles such as the Lafayette group against - unfortunately - F4F Wildcats on November 8th, 1942: the only time during WWII when US planes where engaged against US made planes. The only way to play these campaigns is to... mod your game.
