Yep, but it was only a couple of miles wide, and then you were in unspoilt countryside.

Have successfully patched the Western Front scenario to 1.28,
jan's FM/DM's work nicely as can be seen. The flak at airfields
is lethal and more so if you decide on a second sweep, for not
only my Jasta 5 wingman cops it, two "pursuers" in the background
also get hit, and just after this capture was done the Jasta 79b
Albatros on my left exploded.






I have set the res at 800 x 600 which increases the size of the
aircraft in the external camera views, and reduces the cockpit
interior more to my liking.





All screens and western front inflight map work fine after adjusting
the settings in the ini file. Muzzle flashes, bullet smoke, birds, new
sun and night option work fine and add great immersion.




Lots more to do with targets/bases and trench terrain and of course
more planes plus hangar sound files. Have some probs in the Pilot Career
section with planes exploding on the runway at take off, but fumes and
dust works OK. However as mentioned earlier I 'll be happy just to have
Single Missions and Quick start working with all the new graphics and exe
and an authentic plane in every slot.
