Here are a few shots from the 2008 Vidalia Airshow which I attended on April 27th. This show featured the Blue Angels but had a very interesting special flyby from THE THUNDERBIRDS!. It seems that the T-Birds were flying from Charleston S.C. to Tennesee and decided to swing by Vidalia. They made 2 passes with an 8 ship delta...right over the Blue Angels parking area and then made one more pass with the 6 ship delta and #7 and #8 trailing behind. Very cool and most unusual. (They were flying out of the morning sun and last bits of fog so the image is not great). As has been my recent tradition with The Blues...it started to rain heavily just as Fat Albert began it's taxi and rained throughout most of the performance. There was one little hole of blue sky so I tried to frame my shots to take advantage of the blue when I could.

I hope you enjoy!

Chris

Very nice pics - very clear and sharp! That's a very shiny B-25, and I like the jumper shot in front of the Angels.

No single drop of rain feels it is responsible for the flood.
