The only thing I can think of in the way of attitude was maybe just because I was totally worn out after non stop driving for two days...maybe I wasn't my "chipper" self all the time...lol. I took in everything the instructor told me and by the time I got fairly fast I was always smiling...no idea...lol.
There was an actual pro race Sunday that I could have run in, but my wife told me our Jeep broke down over the weekend so I decided to skip it and come home. Looking at the times of the actual real race Sunday, if I had stayed at my last best times I would have still finished near the bottom. Reality checks suck...heh. I was good for the school, but would only have been competitive in a pro race. Qual times in my class were all a few seconds faster than my best, and race pace I would have only been better than a handful of drivers. Of course I was gaining a second per session I drove in so who knows...
