We have three races left and hopefully that will generate more interest. I know we did a poll earlier asking for Saturday or Sunday, but this is just not working post F1.

So next Saturday at 12 PM Eastern time we will have racing from Brands Hatch.

Sunday will be the PCC Porsches as an F1 series "off-week"

12:15 PM - 10 lap sprint with a shotgun start
12:45 PM - 10 minute qualifying
12:55 PM - 5 minute warmup

I wonder if 2 30-minute races would work better than a single one hour race?

Hm, i was under the impression that the mclaren serie did a fixed setup? If not, then i might try to join.

Only if you send me a copy (of your setup that is).

Thomas, it's the PCC series, run during the off-weeks of F1, that is a fixed setup series. For that car a fixed setup doesn't matter much anyway; it basically ensures everyone is running the same rear wing setting.

The McLaren F1 series is open setup.

Well crap.

Any idea what to do now?

Actually, I'm thinking nothing for a few weeks.

Run the F1s when there is a race, the PCC Porsches when there isn't an F1 race. Then after each of those races ask the question among those who aren't too tired and still want to run, "okay, who wants to run what?" and run whatever the majority wants in whatever configuration they want to run it.

Then lets see what the "SimHQ Indy 500" and "What Next?" concensus is and go from there.

Last time we had 25-30 was the tintop series with the Meganes and Porsches.

I understand everyone is busy and has limited time, so maybe that's the best bet for now. Even today I'd plan to drive the PCCs and practice SSCA Sebring, but get to do neither because I have to work all day (and probably the evening) on the (supposedly) 9-to-5-weekday-job.

Well,

I apologize that I couldn't attend, but work prevailed as well. It's too bad about this series as we were just getting about 5-6 new drivers at TeamODB. Maybe we can revisit McLaren F1 later in the summer for a short series of races.

Anyway, still plan on have more ODB attending races regularly.

Well, i have my Forza serie starting in a few weeks. That will be exiting. (Hm, even thinking of getting me a playseat and a wheel for that one. (I will not make myself look bad among those console fanatics! ))

Guod, check your contract. I apparently missread mine. It wasn't 9-5, weekends off. It was 5-9 (All included) (Which means weekends, vacations, nights and days).
