Thx, but all credit must go to Slikk for first finding this hack to the exe, and Devas to make clear in his post the exact offsets and bytes to change.

cheers

Hi
I'm new at this forum (but I read you since a long time), so hi to everybody.
I didn't want to create a new thread for this, so I used this one. I've been trying to make this sim to work on my 2560 x 1440 monitor, but the only resolution that works ok is 1600 x 1200 (but pixelated). 1920 x 1200 obviously cuts the cockpit and cannot access the lower buttons of the MFDs and 2048 x 1536 is not supported by my monitor. I succesfully hex edited the exe file and now I can use 1920 x 1440, but everything is smaller (big black space at both sides of the screen), and used the info on this thread to hex edit the file to use 1920 x 1200 but with a wider view. I think it's the best I can do, and now I can play 1920 x 1200 with full MFDs, but still it's pixelated. The obvious thing I tried to do is hex edit it to be able to play at 2560 x 1440 (the stock resolution of this monitor), but it CTD. I can hex edit it to play at whatever resolution this monitor supports, but not 2560 x 1440. The question is, Is there any way I can play it at 2560 x 1440, or it's impossible for this sim? 1920 x 1200 with a wider view it's not bad, but if I could play at full resolution it would be great. I hate pixelated images nope.

Thanks

PS: Sorry for my English

Hi Compufan, welcome to SimHQ.

Are you using any of the TSH patches? If so, open the TSH Manager and select the 'Other Settings' tab. Now choose 'same as desktop'

That was the first thing I tried :p , but it CTD. I'm starting to think that 2560 x 1440 simply cannot work on this sim. It should work when I hex edit the program, but it doesn't.

Thanks
