These pics work best when viewed under dim conditions.

Just been playing around with the Mosquito in practice for playing the RAF 487 squadron mini-campaign. Anyway, thought I'd try my hand at nightfighting. Wow! It is coooooooooooolllll! The tracer bends all over the place, you get these really different, shadowy sinister effects. Think I might make a short campaign for this topic. The cheesy, melodramatic captions alone would make it worth doing.
A shadow passes overhead, obscuring the stars.

A dark creature seeks its prey

It attacks...!

...and sends its prey down into the black abyss.

When I saw the first pic I thought it was a joke but then saw the plane in the others!

I want to know how you got rid of those stupid navigation lights!

Dunno actually. I think the time I set the mission to was the key. In the second mission I made they were all lit up like dorky Christmas trees.

There's a certain place that we're not allowed to mention that provides a cure for the night time nav light issue!

Mum's the word. ;\)

Additionally, for those that have BOE and the nav light fix I suggest revisiting Ian Boys superb Kuttelwascher mission. Played on full real as it was designed for is about as good as it gets for dedicated simmers.

Regards,

WB.

For those of you (including me) that don't have BOE, there's my version of Karel Kuttelwaschers's greatest achievement. Don't know if it's as good as Ian's and it's a bit old, but hopefully it still works.

May I humbly offer my own campaign 'Death by Starlight' over on M4T and also with the naughty nav lights switcher offer installed (see whisky above).

Downloading a campaign sounds far more fun than making one. Thank you guys, I'll try them out.
