All right I've got all the add ons downloaded and installed. Is teamspeak a requirement or just an options (as I'll need to go acquire it if it's the first)?

I guess you can put me down as

Nickname: Jenrick
Car Skin: HP Skin
Car Number:

TeamSpeak is required, at the very least just so you can hear race control announcements.

Teamspeak2 client, free program here:

Setting it up here:

Okay so I can just install team speak and use it to monitor, and don't need a microphone per se?

Prefer for everyone to have 2-way, but if that's not possible, at least have receive functioning. As WK said, if we restart a race or there is a problem, it's communicated via TeamSpeak. Without it a driver will wonder what is going on.

Gotcha, I'll dig out my head set. The wife will apreciate that me using that rather then 5.1 speakers for the race anyway \:\)

What a disaster at Birmingham club this weekend. As predicted the 22-lapper (we changed it from 10 laps) was absolute carnage. 3 or 4 laps in I smacked the tire pylons in the corkscrew and lost my front splitter. The next time through I went to pit, found myself on the wrong side of the track because I was off-line in an attempt to let a fast car through, and braked for the entrance. I missed the entrance and before I could even think about going around again I was pummeled from behind. While still spinning I was hit repeatedly by other cars in a mass carnage event. So sorry for the crashfest, guys; I knew that dangerous pit entry was going to be a problem.

Instead of trying to limp around again, and cause more problems, I simply retired. How embarrassing. I blame the track, though.

Amen, Brother Joe!

I made it through the sprint, and I have to say I'm really getting tired of pit penalties. Slow to a crawl, get the beggar fixed and on the way out get those damned red arrows for a "pass through" penalty. Finished five laps down, but I finished!

The attempt at Jacksonville was a washout as far as my temper went. One extreme to another, crowded mayhem to no one in sight, add to it my lovely spouse nagging at me about something or another and there went any attempt at regaining my equanimity. End of weekend. Sigh.

I shall try to get in enough practice at Bathurst so I don't make a total hash of it for others. So far this week, it's been more time spent "lapping the lawn" than driving the sim tracks.

Wow, the tracks for this series are just crazy! But still in a fun way! ;\)

Just ran an hour an a half practice at Bathurst and got my PB of 1:57.7 I think. Of course this was one of the very few laps I actually completed during the entire practice...

Most of the time I was trying to shovel out of the kitty litter or pick up spare parts I'd left in the chicanes and corkscrew. \:D

A couple times I'd wreck at the same place and my car parts were still sitting there from my previous wreck...lol.

Should be a lot of fun!

I'm gonna be right there with you Weasel_Keeper. I think I've gotten through maybe a total of 10 laps over the last week. Haven't broken 2 mins on my PB either. So everyone please just honk and I'll move over when you get to lapping me \:\)
