It's an OK game. Carries on the Close Combat series pretty well. If you are a big single-player gamer, like me, the playability is kinda limited right now, as it only comes with scenarios. there are no campaigns and , as yet, no way to create a true campaign. If you were to want a campaign, you would have to design a linked set of scenarios. I understand that from the multiplayer point of view though, it can be a real blast. With school, I haven't been able to dig into it to deeply yet.

I actually got Close Combat Marines (from which CCMT is a spinoff). I didn't like the single player part because the enemies were generic and not aggressive at all.

I played the "CC3" demo. playing along with the russians is very tiering and oftenly faield for i didn't had a decent armor backing. the T-34 are no worth against their "panthers", "tigers" or "elephents". oftenly inserting the "SU-152's" to take out these tanks by outflanking and ambushes and only than sending in the "T-34" to take out the infantry. the russian infantry too has no chance against the german one. use the terrain to pick them up one by one isolated. looks to me as the best tactic.
