For +G, and anyone else interested: The AC6 HOTAS does indeed work on the PC. Upon hot plugging the USB it is recognized as an Xbox 360 Controller, auto-loading drivers from XP if first use. It is then listed under the 'Game Controllers' control panel. Going to Properties/Test I verified basic functionality. Without doing any calibration I loaded up the always ammenable Strike Fighters, and assigned the X/Y (pitch/roll stick) and Z axis (throttle thrust) in-game. As expected, there was no way to assign buttons in this sim, and control of views was inoperable. I was able to get 75% thrust and reasonably flyable stick control. I then returned to the XP game controller applet and calibrated the axis. Back in-game I got full throttle range and full stick control. I buzzed around the airfield awhile, and was instantly re-immersed in my Saitek X36 days, since that's essentially what this controller suite is. I don't have any Xbox type games on my PC, so was unable to test button capability, but I have no doubts they would be/are valid given that this HOTAS suite is at heart a 360 controller in HOTAS form. I wonder if Saitek software would further facilitate button assignment? Most likely not, as again this is really an Xbox 360 controller in Saitek clothing.

i might look at it later on, after X-Mas i'll prolly order thru Gamestop, i knew it would work on the PC, as for the Buttons, they "SHOULD" work, my 360 USB Controller's Buttons work in SF/WoV/WoE when i Hook it up, as for the Ace Edge stick, its not a Saitek stick, the shell may resemble it, but the insides are a completely different company. True indeed. The innards are strictly a 360 controller, as I cited. But the outards are 99 44/100% Saitek X36, albeit a white set.

Have you tried the drivers from http://www.redcl0ud.comThey are much better than the M$ drivers and allow reassignment of axes etc etc. I've already got at least 4 joysticks so I'm not allowed another....... Cheers, keith
